Founded in 1987, Proturn Mfg. was established as a production job shop. In 1993 Proturn Mfg. expanded into molding urethane foam rubber. The expansion into rubber molding furthered Proturn Mfg.’s manufacturing experience and machining capabilities. The challenge of technically difficult parts, very close tolerance specifications and liability issues regarding warranty claims are the foundation of the company’s relentless approach to eliminating defects and maintaining consistent processes.

In 2003 Proturn Mfg. expanded into their new 30,000 sq ft facility. Proturn Mfg. operates as an extension of its customers business, providing machining and support services for manufacturers in many industries including medical, dental, fastener, forestry products, trucking, mining and racing. Proturn Mfg. effectively manages complex assembly projects and commonly provides turn-key manufacturing services for projects requiring subcontracted services and purchased components.
